We value all the children who attend the groups in our church. Leaders treat them with respect and want to nurture them and show them God’s love, whatever level they are at. All our groups provide a safe environment where children can have fun, and share fellowship with friends old and new.

• Sunday Groups
  • Creche: 0-3 years
    During our Sunday morning 9.30 service there is a creche available for the youngest children. Children can be left in the creche after the first song and should be collected during the last song. Parents are welcome to stay if a child does not settle. This group offers toys, games and stories appropriate to the age of your child.
  • Godly Play: 3-7 years
    This group meets on Sunday morning during the 9.30 service. Children can be left after the first song and should then be collected after the service. Bible stories, games, songs, and craft activities. All activities are age appropriate.
  • Godzone: 7-11 years.
    The session begins at 9.30 with a short service. Children then divide into two groups: 5-7 and 8-11. They are taught about prayer and different ways of praying. They also follow a programme of Bible study which is done in an interactive way through songs, games and activities.
• Mid Week Groups
  • Parents and Toddlers: 0-5 years
    This groups meets on Wednesday and Thursday mornings during school term time at St. Paul’s from 10.30. If you are a parent or carer you are welcome to bring children along and meet others in the same situation. Somewhere to chat and share ideas with others. Have a cup of coffee. Lots of play opportunities. The group’s activities include an annual picnic in Victoria Country Park in the summer and a short Carol Service in December.
  • Little Stars: 0-5 years
    Little Stars is a group for babies and pre-school children. We meet on Friday mornings during school term-time at St Paul’s from 9.45am to about 11am. We start with a structured music time, usually based round a theme, where the children can sing, play instruments, join in with action songs, dance and catch the bubbles or just watch and listen! It is all very relaxed and informal and we encourage the children to join in with whatever they feel able. After a drink and biscuit, there is then lots of time to play and make new friends. If you have children aged 0-5 years and would like to come along and join us, it would be lovely to see you.
  • Surf’s Up:  School years R to 2
    Meets: Thursday, 5.30-6.30pm
    This group is for infant school children. We have lots of fun playing games and also we provide a variety of opportunities to do cooking and craft in a friendly, loving atmosphere where all children are valued.
  • Breakout: School years 3-6
    Meets: Wednesday, 5-6pm
    Breakout is a group just for junior aged children. It is all about having fun, playing games, learning new skills, meeting friends and sharing life together.
